Heat Recovery Units (HRU), London
With a traditional air conditioning unit, air circulates around a building, and, when it becomes stale, it is replaced by colder air that needs to be warmed up by a heating system.
The warm, stale air is simply expelled into the atmosphere.
A heat recovery unit draws the heat from the extracted air and passes it to the air which is being drawn in from outside. By using the existing heat in this way an HRU can save you money as well as improving the air quality of your premises.
Your property will be fully ventilated throughout the year with as much as 95% of the normally wasted heat being recovered, providing you with substantial energy savings.
How Commercial Heat Recovery Units work
Heat recovery units deliver filtered fresh air into a building whilst extracting stale, moist and stagnant air from the interior. Each unit will have a heat recovery element that transfers the heat that would otherwise be lost into the incoming airflow. The two airflows are kept separate so that there is no cross-contamination.
When needed, a commercial heat recovery system can be adapted to incorporate cooling, additional filtration and sophisticated control packages.
Here at Charles Fairing we can advise on, supply and install the best heat recovery system for your business. We also offer a full servicing and maintenance package to give you extra peace of mind.
